Private Lessons
Intro To Drones - Completely new to drones? This 3 hour experience is geared towards students who have never flown before or have very limited experience. Learn about the history of drones, all the different ways drones are being put to use in almost every sector of our economy, the science behind how drones work, the different types of drones and which one may be most suitable for you, and how to take care and maintain a drone. Beyond The Basics - This 3 hour intensive class is aimed at students who have some experience flying and are wanting to move from amateur hobbyist to possible commercial pilot. In our time together we will do a refresher flying lesson (if needed), rules and safety, using AirMap to obtain waivers to fly in controlled airspace, basic test info/prep, basic photo and video shots, the DJI quickshots and flight modes, and some basic drone photo editing. Digital Photography
Do you have a DSRL camera and are still stuck shooting in AUTO mode? Want to learn about all things digital photography? Join me for a 6 weeks class that explores all aspects of DSLR photography. Each week we will explore a few new topics and practice what we’ve been learning. Class is intended for 9th grade students to any and all adults. Introductory Digital Photography
Do you have a DSLR camera and aren't sure how to use it? Are you still taking photos using only the AUTOMATIC mode? If you answered yes to either of these questions then this is the perfect class for you! Each class will begin with an exploration of a new topic followed by some hands on application of the technique or idea. Weekly assignments will also be given to reinforce what has been learned in class. During this class you will learn about the history of photography and cameras, the science behind how a DSLR camera works, lenses and how different ones produce different results, the exposure triangle - aperture, shutter speed and ISO, lots of composition techniques, and much, much more. Digital Photography: Beyond the Basics
Do you already have a basic understanding of your DSLR or mirrorless camera and want to take your skills to the next level? These 3 one hour classes will expand upon the photographic knowledge you already possess and make you a better photographer. In order to take this class you should be comfortable adjusting the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO on your camera and have a basic understanding of simple composition techniques. Topics covered will depend upon your needs and interests. Students who have taken my Intro to Digital Photography class in the past will automatically qualify.
